Tampa is the center of the universe for Republicans right now. After a one day delay caused by the threat of then tropical storm, now Hurricane Isaac, the Republican National Committe Convention kicked into full gear Tuesday night with speeches for several of the party's rising stars and Ann Romney, the wife of the no longer preseumptive nominee.
A parade of Republican governors including New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker were among the high profile party representatives rallying support for former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney Tuesday night.
The most anticipated speech of the night was from the candidate's wife Ann Romney who appealed directly to women voters and spoke of her personal view of her husband's qualifications for president.
Did you watch the convention? What were the most memorable points of the evening? Who do you think was most effective?
