Grammy Award-Winning Bassist John Patitucci Performs 3rd Annual Jazz Benefit Concert

Three-time Grammy award-winning bassist John Patitucci recently led his band in a benefit concert in Hastings on Hudson to raise proceeds for two charities:  Hastings Helps the Hungry and The Sharing Community. The event was held at The First Reformed Church in Hastings on Hudson on Saturday, September 14 and close to $4,000 was raised from ticket sales, a silent auction and gifts. Patitucci’s band included pianist Jon Cowherd, guitarist Jay Azzolina, drummer Nate Smith, and vocalist Ruth Naomi Floyd. The concert was jointly presented by Hastings on Hudson’s Trinity Rivertowns Church and The First Reformed Church.
