Democrats Should Vote For Catherine Parker

Dear Editor - 
I have served the Democratic Party as a district leader for many years.  This is the first time I can remember having a primary election for the nominee in the 7th District of the County Legislature.  
I attended the candidates’ debate, and I have studied the records of both candidates.
I strongly believe that Catherine Parker is by far the better candidate – both to represent the views of the district’s Democrats and to work effectively with Democrats and Republicans to provide important County services in an efficient and caring manner.  
Catherine Parker’s experience and skill in serving on the Rye City Council have helped deal with many important issues.  For many years she has worked to develop a plan to make Playland a sustainable and relevant County Park for the 21st century.  
She has also been very active in promoting environmental issues and storm water management
I urge all registered Democrats in the 7th District to vote for Catherine Parker on Tuesday, September 10th.
