BOL Talks Traffic & Parking With SPI TODAY

Chaired by County Legislator Pete Harckham, the Labor, Parks, Planning & Housing Committee (I *think* I got that right) is now meeting every Tuesday at 9am for one hour specifically to go over various aspects of the SPI proposal for Playland as they continue the review process prior to voting.

While these are official Committee meetings, and you cannot go to ask questions or speak, these meetings ARE open to the public and anyone is welcome to attend. You can sit there first hand and watch/listen as the Legislators and SPI discuss the various questions and concerns associated with the plan.

Today's meeting, Tues. 3/25/14 is specifically regarding Parking and Traffic issues.

You can WATCH THIS MEETING VIA LIVE INTERNET STREAM HERE:

At some point during the week of May 5th, they have tentatively planned another public hearing. Exact date and location is yet to be determined.

The FULL BOL also meets every alternate Monday night at 7pm. These meetings are always open to the Public and anyone can go to speak for three minutes about any topic they want to address.
