Playland Beach Open to Leashed Dogs Starting Today
Starting today, leashed dogs are allowed on Playland Beach from 7 a.m. to dusk.
Rye area dog owners rejoice! From today through March 31, 2012, owners can bring their leashed dogs to enjoy the Long Island Sound shoreline at Playland Beach. Access is available from 7 a.m. to dusk and owners must clean up behind their pets.
"Let's all enjoy our beautiful natural resource," says a release from County Legislator Judy Myers, "and let's all remember to say thank you to our Playland Park employees."
