Friday, December 6

Youth Players present: Treasure Island at Philipstown Depot Theater. 4th - 8th graders tell a fantastic tale of a treasure map, a perilous sea journey across the Spanish Main, a mutiny led by the infamous Long John Silver, and a lethal scramble for buried treasure as seen through the eyes of cabin boy Jim Hawkins.

LEGO KidsFest at the Hartford Convention Center! at LIFE Marketing and Events. The LEGO KidsFest is a nationally-traveling giant LEGO expo held over 3 days and filled with interactive, creative and educational activities for the whole family: construction zones, meet LEGO Master Builders, group builds, LEGO Games, and MORE!

Saturday, December 7

Disney's WINNIE THE POOH  at Irvington Town Hall Theater. Welcome to the Hundred Acre Wood, where Winnie the Pooh is once again in search of honey! Along the way, he meets his pals Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit, and Owl, but soon discovers that Christopher Robin has been captured by the Backson.

Trim-A-Tree at The United Methodist Church at Shrub Oak. Celebrate with friends and family making ornaments, sharing pizza and decorating the Sanctuary tree while singing carols and having fun.

New Castle Community Sing and Tree Lighting at Chappaqua Orchestra. A delight for all ages, the New Castle Community Sing features holiday tunes and sing-along under the baton of guest conductor, Benjamin Niemczyk on Saturday, December 7, at 3:30 pm.

Holiday Electric Lights Parade at Town of Yorktown. Parade ends with the lighting of the Christmas Tree at the Jack DeVito Memorial Field. Don’t forget to bring your camera for a photo opportunity with Santa! Please bring a boxed or canned non-perishable food item. Scheduled rain, snow or shine!

TRAINS – YOUR TICKET TO THE GREAT OUTDOORS at Greenburgh Nature Center. Exhibit runs through Sunday, December 15, 2013 (Closed Fridays). Display of model trains, presented by the Yonkers Model Railroad Club.

Sunday, December 8

BOSTON POPS HOLIDAY at Eisenhower Hall Theatre. Join the BOSTON POPS Esplanade Orchestra for their Holiday Pops concert. Capturing the magic of the Christmas season, and the winter charms of New England, the BOSTON POPS will perform their signature "Sleigh Ride," and other Holiday classics.
