COSMIC PUBLIC SKATE NIGHTS at Hommocks Park Ice Rink. What a better way to spend your Friday evenings than skating to your favorite music coordinated to new cosmic disco lights on the ice

Orange Ball (Ages 8, 9 & 10) at Solaris Yorktown.  Kids will learn hand-eye coordination, timing, ball striking skills and footwork...using the new USTA Quickstart program. Progressive and exciting games and drills will stimulate and challenge your child - all while having FUN!

NEW YEAR, FRESH START: Money Talks: Raising Financially Responsible Children @ Larchmont Library at Larchmont Public Library. Michael Sepkowski and Griffin Burnett of New York Life lead this informational program which serves to lay the foundation for parents to instill sound monetary practices in children.

Open House at French-American School of New York . The French-American School of New York is an independent, coeducational day school serving more than 850 students in Nursery through Grade 12.

Breakfast with the Birds – Project Feeder Watch  at Westmorland Sanctuary. Not all of our wildlife sleep the winter away. Join us as we venture into the outdoors to see what animals have been moving around. We will look for signs of animals passing through the trails, and discover what stories they tell us.

WHOO'S THERE? OWL PROWL  at Greenburgh Nature Center. This fun and informative program has you meeting owls up-close, learning about their unique behaviors, and hiking at night through the forest looking and listening for our nocturnal neighbors. Bring flashlights!

Ferrets on Parade  at Westmorland Sanctuary. Come meet our ferret friends, Lola and Lulu. We will learn about the history of ferrets, their wild relatives and then take our ferrets on a "parade" walk around the upstairs area of the nature center.

International Family Folk Dance  at New Era Creative Space. All Ages Welcome! 2nd Saturdays 6:30pm-8:30pm

LEGO® Legends of Chima™ Event at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester. LEGO Legends of Chima is brought to life in the fantastical world of LEGO Chima where tribes of animal warriors compete in epic battles for CHI, a mystical energy source of limitless power and destruction.

Build-Your-Own Bongos at Lakeshore Learning. Boppin’ beats are at kids’ fingertips…as they make, decorate and play these super-fun bongos!

Winter Tree ID Hike at Westmorland Sanctuary. Come learn the basics of winter tree identification. Bark, buds and branches are the 3 B's used to identify during this time of year. Great for tree identification, and an important skill for those interested in backyard maple sugaring.
