Monday, November 11 - Sunday November 17th: By Her Hand: Art of Native American Women & the Photographs of Edward S. Curtis at Stamford Museum & Nature Center. September 21 - December 3, 2013 Come and "meet" the Native American women who transformed everyday objects with personal expressions of artistic flair.

Tuesday, November 12 through November 17th: Eye to I... 3,000 Years of Portraits at Katonah Museum of Art. Eye to I explores the countless ways individuals experience imagery. Interpretive copy written by over 100 contributors – from a U.S. poet laureate to a local police officer – offer personal responses to the 60 portraits on display.

Tuesday, November 12: Tuesdays for Tots at Katonah Museum of Art. Draw, paint, collage, and build! Each week we will discover new artworks in the galleries and enjoy creating our own art, inspired by the portraits we see. Pre-paid registration required. Younger siblings are not permitted.

Thursday, November 14: Nature Strollers at Hudson Highlands Nature Museum. Hiking Group for families with babies and young children.

Friday, November 15: Full Moon Hike at the Pratt Nature Center  at Pratt Nature Center. Hike the lower fields at the Pratt Nature Center by the light of the full moon then warm up by the campfire with marshmallows! Don't forget your flashlights for this fun, free, outside activity perfect for the whole family.

Saturday, November 16: Ecology Club for Families with Special Needs at Rye Nature Center. Children with special needs are invited to bring a family member with them to the Nature Center and enjoy animal programs, hikes, and other fun science and sensory adventures. This is no fee for this program series but pre-registration is required.

Sunday, November 17: Sunday Explorers at Stamford Museum & Nature Center. Our popular Sunday drop-in programs return for the fall!
