Free Items Change as Mrs. Green's Begins Second Weekly Give-Away Program Requiring a $50 Purchase
Mrs. Green's in Tarrytown has entered the second week in a four-week program of free give-aways for customers who spend at least $50 on a shopping visit. "The free items will change each Friday," store manager Phil McAvoy said. The remaining campaigns are scheduled for January 3-9 and January 10-16.
The current offer expires on Thursday, January 2, 2014; it is limited to one per household and no other promotional specials can be honored as part of the deal.
The free items, valued at about $22, to be offered until January 2, 2014 follow:
- One-half gallon of "Simply Orange" juice, assorted varieties
- A four-pack of 4-ounce Vermont Applesauce, assorted varieties
- A 12-ounce package of Al Fresco Italian sausage
- A bag of Skinny Pop popcorn, 4.4 ounces, assorted varieties
- Organic Golden pineapple
- Mrs. Green's reusable insulated carrying bag

This offer is only available at the Tarrytown location.
The store, open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., is located between the CVS pharmacy and Pay Half in the space previously occupied by Tarrytown Gourmet. Mrs. Green's will close at 7 p.m. on New Year's Eve and will be open during its normal hours on New Year's Day.
Free parking is available behind the store during store hours only. Cars still parked in the lot once the store closes are subject to towing or tire booting.
