'Empty Bowls' Hunger Relief Fundraiser

Empty Bowls, a national organization that raises awareness about issues of hunger, will host a fundraiser on Sunday, Jan. 29 at 11 a.m. at  Rye Presbyterian Church, located at 882 Boston Post Road in Rye. Soups and breads from The Kneaded Bread bakery in Port Chester will be donated for the event. Guests will receive a bowl of soup and bread in exchange for a donation. All proceeds from Empty Bowls' fundraiser will benefit local soup kitchens.
