Westchester Board Of Legislators Meeting

Westchester County BOL will hold a regular meeting tonight, which is open to the public. VOICE YOUR CONCERNS ABOUT SPI'S PLAN FOR PLAYLAND!

Anyone is welcome to speak during the "Public Comments" section which comes early in the evening, shortly after the meeting starts. Playland is not on the agenda tonight, but if you have questions or concerns about Sustainable Playland's proposed construction of a 95,000 sq. foot indoor sports facility with adjacent outdoor playing fields to be built in the middle of Playland's parking lot, now is your chance to SPEAK UP!

All speakers get 3 minutes to talk. Bring notes or a short prepared statement, and practice what you want to say so that you can make your point effectively in the short time allotted.

Bring photo ID and plan to arrive early (suggested 6:30), as you will have to go through a security check downstairs in the lobby before heading up to the 8th floor. Once on the 8th floor you will need to sign in at a reception desk, you will then be directed to meeting chambers.  Leave early and allow time for parking also.

The County Office building is located in downtown White Plains on the corner of Martine Ave. & Court Street, right across the street from the Galleria. The actual entrance is on Court Street, not Martine Ave.
