Catsino Night to Benefit Pets Alive

 ,   Add to calendar
1280 Albany Post Rd Croton on Hudson NY 10520  See map

On Saturday November 17th from 6-10pm, Pets Alive will once again be celebrating Catsino Night in pure Vegas style. This elegant evening will feature Frank Sinatra inspired tunes from DJ Danny Salgado of Changing Rhythms, illusions by street magician and mentalist Chris Dare and of course casino games galore.

Join us and try your luck at black jack, poker, craps, roulette and even slot machines. Just like on the famous Strip you can splurge on boutique inspired prizes with all the funny money you win. When you run out of chips you can visit the silent auction to bid on fabulous items.

Best of all, while sinning the night away guests will be contributing to saving the lives of thousands of deserving animals. Pets Alive, one of the oldest and largest no-kill organizations in the country, works tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate and find forever homes for animals. In 2012 alone the organization will find forever homes for over 3,200 lovable critters.

This is the second year in a row that Sky View and Waterview Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare will be graciously hosting Catsino Night to benefit Pets Alive. Attendees will be treated to cocktails and delicious hor d'oeuvres specially designed by the Executive Chef at Waterview Hills. Located in Croton on the Hudson, guests will enjoy this glamorous evening while overlooking beautiful views of the Hudson River from Sky View Rehabilitation and Healthcare.

Please join us for Catsino Night on November 17, 2012 from 6-10pm at Sky View Rehabilitation and Healthcare - 1280 Albany Post Road, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520.

Tickets can be purchase for $75 for individuals and $125 for couples at www.petsalive.org.

Just a short thought to get the word out quickly about anything in your neighborhood.
Share something with your neighbors. Write a new post... What's up? Make an announcement, speak your mind, or sell something

Let's look at the appropriateness of this post. First, it's clearly an ad because it points to aRead More specific insurance agent at a specific agency to contact. Second, it attempts to hide being an ad behind what may be useful information (or not). Third, the "person" who posted it doesn't use their real name. Instead, they use a pseudonym Divorce Information NOW. That doesn’t seem terribly reassuring to me. This the third advertising post on the “announcements” space since Rye Patch converted to the new site layout. Seems a bit of a mess to me. But hopefully someone will come along and figure out who the real poster is, their link to the advertised agent and agency, and then delete the post. After all, if it’s an ad, it should be labeled as such and the poster should pay for having it run. If that doesn’t happen, Patch won’t be able to pay its employees to keep real content on the site.
