Thousands Still Without Power in Rye Area
Con Edison has no estimated restoration times listed as of Wed. night.
There is not much good news for the approximately 10,000 Con Edison customers in Rye and Rye Brook still without power Wednesday.
Con Edison has no time estimate listed for when wires will be repaired and when the power will be restored on its outage map.
Con Edison customers without power should be sure to report the outage to the utility company. Call Con Edison at 1-800-75-CONED or report the outage online at http://www.coned.com/sm/

Officials say that calling to report the outage will register the complaint in the Con Ed database. Even if a neighbor already called, folks must report each individual outage to register it in the system.
In Rye, there are more than 20 road closures, according to city manager Scott Pickup. We should have a list of which roads are closed by tomorrow morning. Con Edison and DPW crews were out all day working on roads.
