Storm Gallery: Hudson River Rising

Submit your photos and images to our growing collection here.

It's high tide on the Hudson and the water at 9:30 a.m. was already flowing up the boat launch at Horan's Landing and onto the walkway.

Sleepy Hollow Police Officer Wendy Yancey was parked there this morning making sure no one decided to get into the choppy waters.

A DPW worker watching the windy scene said "it's exciting but scary."

The Tappan Zee Bridge in the distance has slight traffic going the 35 mph speed limit. If winds hit 60 mph the whole thing will be shut down.

Beyond a few people checking out the scene, and workers quickly cleaning up the last of the Castle Oil remains, it was ominously quiet on the Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow riverfronts.

DPW workers in both villages are on duty and certainly in for much work to come as this giant storm promises to linger for days.

Share your photos and video of what you're experiencing and witnessing as the storm develops, and please, stay safe!
