Rye Brook Ice Rink Hearing Moved to April; Restaurant Week Begins

Five things you need to know to start the week, March 11-13.

1.      Rye Brook Village Board Meeting

The village Board of Trustees will meet on Tuesday, March 12, at 7:30 p.m. in Village Hall. Read the agenda here.

The Board held a special meeting on March 8 and voted to move the Reckson Ice Rink public hearing to April 23. It was originally scheduled for the March 12 meeting.

2.      Rye Brook Youth Soccer Spring Kickoff

The huge annual event will take place on March 16-17 at the King Street Athletic Fields. Read all about it here.

3. Hudson Valley Restaurant Week

THe HV Restaurant week starts today. Check out which local eateries are participating by offering $29.95 and $20.95 prixe fix dinners and lunches. The event ends on March 24.

4. Blind Brook Enrichment Program Meet and Greet

The BBEP welcomes the public to join a meet and greet on Wednesday, March 20 at 7:45 p.m. at the high school library. They are looking for volunteers to help run a 2013 family fundraiser and a large adult evening event in fall 2013. 

5. Rye Brook Announces First Annual Carnival

Mark your calendar for the weekend of April 12-14. Rye Brook will host its first ever-annual carnival – a fun event for the whole family. Read about it here.
