What better way to enjoy your Sunday than drinking a mimosa while you dig into  everything from steak and eggs to french toast?

Whether the in-laws are coming to town for the weekend or you and a few friends are simply looking for an exciting treat this Saturday or Sunday, these local eateries boast hearty brunch menus guaranteed to hold over your appetite until dinnertime.

Port Chester

This swanky Italian bistro by night proves to be just as delicious in the early afternoon with its brunch listing. The modern-style menu not only boasts poached eggs with roasted porchetta, lump crab meat, asparagus and herb omelets, their steak paninis will certainly satisfy your appetite. On Sunday afternoons from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., do yourself a favor and get out of bed early.

With its regular breakfast menu offered seven days a week, the Doral Arrowwood  hotel restaurant likes to fuse its breakfast and regular lunch specials. Offerings include Norwegian smoked salmon, a waffle station and omelet bar. Brunch takes place from 11:30 a.m. until 1:15 p.m. on Sundays.

Harrison

Along with specialties all day and night like shepherd’s pie bites and burgers; this Irish pub also offers bacon, eggs, and other brunch items every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. Menu prices range from $6-23.

At this French gourmet, every weekend is enough cause for celebration. It offers a champagne brunch Sundays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. where you can enjoy classic breakfast items like bacon and eggs, salads and homemade soups.
