Parker, Murphy to Face Off in Democratic Candidate Debate July 31

The League of Women Voter’s is hosting a debate between Democratic candidates for the District 7 Westchester County Legislator seat, Rye’s Catherine Parker and Mamaroneck’s Tom Murphy, on July 31. Parker and Murphy are currently gathering signatures on petitions in order to be placed on the ballot. The primary is on Sept. 10. And the winner will appear on the Democratic line on the ballots for the general election in November. The Republican Candidate is John Verni, of New Rochelle.

The League of Women Voters will moderate the debate, which will be held on July 31 at 7:30 p.m. at the courtroom in the Mamaroneck Town Center, at 740 West Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck.
