Under a clear blue sky, hundreds of children formed a perimeter around thousands of brightly-colored plastic eggs strewn across the south lawn of The Osborn.
When the signal was given, they sprang into action running, squatting and grabbing eggs as they went, and within a minute, every egg was gone from the lawn, placed into baskets, pails and bags by the children ages 1-10.
The Easter Bunny made an appearance, waving to all and posing for pictures while others cracked open the eggs to get at the treats inside.
