Habitat for Humanity Needs Volunteers to Help with Clean-Up Effort
Executive director Jim Killoran said the organization needs a large warehouse for its donated supplies.
Patch just received this message from Habitat for Humanity of Westchester:
It is a sad day right now for the many homeowners who have been flooded, lost their special items of love, lost their homes.
I cant believe what I just saw honestly in Mamaroneck, Larchmont. We are ready to respond though.

Having just met with the Mayor of Mamaroneck Mayor Norm and village manager Rich, we will galvanize volunteers to help. We will help respond in Yonkers, in Mt Vernon where homes were damaged.
We need a large warehouse for delivery of donated supplies. If anyone knows of one available for three to six months to help with supplies.
