Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and many of you haven't even made plans yet!

For a slightly more casual, yet stylish Valentine's dinner, Plates Restaurant is a great spot for couples. Chef Matthew Karp will be serving two special prix fixe menus for the occasion, either three courses for $75 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., or four courses for $85 from 7:30 p.m. until closing. There are few things more refined than a French feast, and Rye restaurant La Panetiére is the perfect gourmet experience. Owner Jacques Loupia will be serving a special menu for both lunch and dinner on Valentine's weekend. The lunch menu, served February 13 and February 14, will include rosace of sea scallops in a champagne sauce, short ribs with shallot confit and a special dessert. They aren't called Latin Lovers for nothin', and Latin-influenced restaurant Sonora is staying true to the reputation for Valentine's Day. Catch the Perfect "Valentine's Day" Movie

If you just want a relaxed evening at the movies, the romantic flick of the year is out. "Valentines Day" (PG-13) starring Julia Roberts, her niece Emma Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel and more stars follows the intertwining stories of several people in Los Angeles as they navigate the good and the bad of Valentine's Day. Spend Valentines Day Under the Stars

Cozy up under the February sky at the Hudson River Museum Planetarium for love stories written in the sky's stars.
