Titanic, Revival of 1997 Broadway Musical, Will Open on January 16 at Westchester Broadway Theatre

Titanic, a 1997 Broadway musical play, will be revived on stage at the Westchester Broadway Theatre (a 460-seat dinner-theater) in Elmsford on January 16, 2014 and will run through February 23, 2014. 

The musical has a Tony-winning score by Maury Yeston (Grand Hotel, Nine) and a Tony-winning book by the late Peter Stone (The Will Rogers Follies, 1776).

Original cast member Don Stephenson, who played Charles Clarke in the 1997 New York City Broadway production of Titanic, takes on the role of director and will employ new staging along with a cast of 20. The choreographer is Liza Gennaro. Ian Weinberger serves as musical director and conductor.

Titanic opened in the spring of 1997 and gathered five Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Book (Peter Stone), Best Orchestrations (Jonathon Tunick), Best Score (Maury Yeston) and Best Scenic Design (Stewart Laing).

Drew McVety plays Henry Etches, Kate Walbye is Ida Strauss, and Adam Heller plays J. Bruce Ismay. The cast also includes Donna English as Alice Beane, Phillip Hoffman as Edgar Beane, William Parry as Captain Smith and Tom Hewitt (Rocky Horror Show, Jesus Christ Superstar) as Thomas Andrews.
