Give Hope Bake: Join in Celebrating 'Pediatric Cancer Foundation Month'

GIVE HOPE BAKE

Join in celebrating “Pediatric Cancer Foundation Month” during the month of May by purchasing baked goods Saturday, May 17 where PCF will be present across Westchester County. Some of the locations where these bake sales will take place include:

 

Scarsdale Village and Five Corners, outside Candy Rox, Rye, NY,  Louis M. Klein Middle School, Purchase Elementary School, outside Cindy’s Hair Studio in Mamaroneck, and Rye Ridge Shopping Center.

Pediatric Cancer Foundation President, Cheryl Rosen, congratulates the Mittman Family for creating, producing and directing bake sales across Westchester County and some other states. One hundred percent of the proceeds from GIVE HOPE BAKE will go towards helping children.

Ms. Rosen applauds this family by saying:

 

“The Mittman family embody what our charity is about. They have worked 24/7 for the past several months putting together this event. Their goal is for this project to raise $10,000 to fund laboratory equipment for the hospitals we support. Our charity is enormously grateful to the entire Mittman family as well as to the dozens of volunteers who will be participating in our bake sales as well as to our consumers who will supporting children with cancer by their purchases of these delicious baked goods.”

 

Pediatric Cancer Foundation has been a leader, raising awareness and funds for childhood cancer for over 40 years.   As a non profit organization, PCF funds the vital work of hospitals by allocating money for treatment, patient/parent care, fellowships and research equipment in the study of pediatric cancer.  The Foundation supports several hospitals in the NYC metro area and their affiliates including:

            NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital

Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center

Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York

The Stephen D. Hassenfeld Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at NYU Lagone Medical Center

Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center
