Rye Brook's Elevation Burger Launches Beef vs. Veggies Contest

The following release is from Elevation Burger:

Elevation Burger – the first and largest organic burger chain in the country – is giving guests a chance to win free burgers for a year by making their voices heard in an ongoing food debate: Beefeater vs. Vegetarian. Guests that come in-store between now and May 31 will have the option of selecting one of two cups: “I’m a Beefie” or “I’m a Veggie.” They can then visit Elevation Burger’s Facebook page to upload a photo of themselves with their cup of choice, as well as to register to win free burgers for a year. Guests can also bring their cups back in-store any time until June 15 for free refills (with the purchase of a sandwich).

Elevation Burger locations across the country will take to the polls by reporting on the campaign in real-time. By visiting ElevationBurger.com, beefeaters and vegetarians everywhere will be able to see who’s leading in the polls both by individual store, as well as companywide. They will also be able to proudly voice their opinion by taking to social media and participating in the photo contest or downloading a cover photo to proudly display for which side of the debate they cast their vote.

“We know firsthand that many of our guests are passionate in their support and love for either our beef burger or our veggie burgers,” said Hans Hess, Founder and CEO of Elevation Burger. “We think Cup Wars is a great way to give our guests a voice in this important debate and we look forward to seeing which ‘candidate’ comes out on top. Plus, who wouldn’t love the chance to win free burgers for a year?”

Elevation Burger’s menu items consist of burgers made from 100 percent organic, grass-fed, free-range beef and fries cooked in heart-healthy olive oil – offering great tasting burgers and other food items with less fat and fewer calories, including two different vegetarian burger options.  Elevation Burger’s Veggie Burger No. 1 contains dairy, while Veggie Burger No. 2 is vegan. Guests can also choose to have their burgers wrapped in iceberg lettuce or served on a potato roll.

Elevation Burger is committed to environmentally friendly practices, including recycling waste – some of which becomes bio-diesel fuel – and using sustainable materials and energy-efficient equipment in its restaurants. The commitment to sustainability doesn’t stop there: the restaurants’ fun and hip décor is made from bamboo and recycled materials, plus the open kitchen provides guests with the ability to see their food being created right in front of them. The Arlington-based burger chain currently has a total of 32 U.S. restaurants located along the East Coast from Portland, Maine to Miami, and as far west as Austin, Texas.
