The international franchise has a local branch on Ridge Street.

Editor's Note: Thanks to for bringing this to our attention.

RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J., Jul 23, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE)-- On Thursday, July 19, Daekyo America unveiled the new name and logo of its supplemental education subsidiary to more than 100 entrepreneurs attending the company's facility grand opening of the Eye Level Hub.

Formerly E.nopi, the company has adopted Eye Level as the name and brand of its 158 franchise learning centers in the United States and more than 780 worldwide.

An exact English translation of the subsidiary's Korean name, Daekyo America CEO HoJun Kang believes Eye Level speaks to the organization's core philosophy of educatingeach child at his or her individual learning level and pace.

"For more than three decades, we have built our business on the idea that children must be taught in a manner that honors where they are developmentally as an individual, not based on what grade they are in or their age," explained Kang. "By mirroring this philosophy in our company's new name, parents looking for tailored learning support that fosters critical thinking skills will better recognize the benefits and value Eye Level provides."

The July 20 event was the first opportunity for the company's franchisees to learn more about the rebranding and discuss support services to be provided by Daekyo America to aid its franchisees in making the transition to the new name. That support will includefunding for primary, permanent and temporary signage at each location, marketingassistance and rebranded marketing materials.

"Our job is to make sure our franchisees are provided the support needed to ensure a smooth transition and that they have the tools they need to present and promote the EyeLevel brand," said Kang.

Eye Level was founded on the principal of fostering self-directed learning through individualized academic coaching at the pace and level needed by the child. The EyeLevel concept is distinguished in the supplemental academic support market due to its individualized academic coaching and fostering of critical thinking among its students.

Let's look at the appropriateness of this post. First, it's clearly an ad because it points to aRead More specific insurance agent at a specific agency to contact. Second, it attempts to hide being an ad behind what may be useful information (or not). Third, the "person" who posted it doesn't use their real name. Instead, they use a pseudonym Divorce Information NOW. That doesn’t seem terribly reassuring to me. This the third advertising post on the “announcements” space since Rye Patch converted to the new site layout. Seems a bit of a mess to me. But hopefully someone will come along and figure out who the real poster is, their link to the advertised agent and agency, and then delete the post. After all, if it’s an ad, it should be labeled as such and the poster should pay for having it run. If that doesn’t happen, Patch won’t be able to pay its employees to keep real content on the site.
