New Frozen Yogurt Shop Opens in New Rochelle

The frozen yogurt and all the toppings are certified Kosher.

A new frozen yogurt shop called 16 Handles will officially open its doors at the North Ridge Shopping Center Saturday, April 6.

The store, located at 77 Quaker Ridge Rd., will be giving away up to $5 of frozen yogurt and toppings during the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 11 p.m.

New Rochelle resident Bruce Zakalik, the franchise partner and owner, was pleased to find a hometown location for his business. He said they looked at many locations but decided the North Ridge Shopping Center fit the bill. The store will create 25 jobs and possibly more during the summer.
