Rye Patch readers chose in Rye Brook as the spot for Mother's Day brunch.
And apparently, these readers are putting their money where their votes are. Assistant Food and Beverage Manager Johanna Torres says three of the popular two-hour brunch seatings are already sold out. But fret not, at least not yet. There are six brunch seatings on Mother's Day: 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., and 4:00 and 4:30 p.m.
Any one of those reservation times would be great for Mom and Grandma. Torres said there will be a live jazz trio performing all day and a magician doing tableside tricks.
The restaurant is expecting in excess of one thousand guests for its prix frixe service- adults are $51.95 per person, children ages 4-10 are $22.50. And there is an extensive menu of appetizers to start and desserts to finish; and in between, a seafood raw bar, carvery, omelet and waffle station and a long list of "classic brunch entrees."
