Business Council of Westchester, First Niagara Bank Launch Speaker Series

The Business Council of Westchester is launching an exciting new business series sponsored by First Niagara Bank that will feature insightful interviews with some of the region’s most prominent and important business leaders.

 

The first program, which will be held June 2, from 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at Manhattanville College, is titled First Niagara Bank Presents Leadership Conversations: Leonard S. Schleifer, M.D., Ph.D., Founder, President and CEO, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with First Niagara Bank in bringing to the Westchester business community this dynamic new series featuring interviews with today’s top business leaders,” said Marsha Gordon, President and CEO of The Business Council of Westchester. Gordon, who will serve as the interviewer, added,  “We are also delighted to have as our first guest Dr. Leonard Schleifer, whose company is one of the fastest growing biotech firms in the state. We expect the evening will be enlightening as well as entertaining.”

First Niagara Bank is a natural fit as sponsor for the new series. Since entering the Tri-State Region two years ago, First Niagara has rapidly expanded its presence in the commercial lending market and brought new jobs to Westchester.
