The Cap to Donate Justin Townes Earle Ticket Sales to Sandy Relief Sat.

All proceeds from the Nov. 10 show will be donated to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy relief.

The Capitol Theatre has just announced that special guest, The Wallflowers, will be appearing with Justin Townes Earle this Saturday night on a bill that already includes Tift Merritt.

All profits from ticket sales will be donated to the American Red Cross to support their relief efforts for Hurricane Sandy victims. The Bowery Presents and The Capitol Theatre are proud to be a part of this effort to raise money to help those who need it the most.

Justin Townes Earle recently released his fourth full-length album, Nothing’s Gonna Change the Way You Feel About Me Now, to favorable review (see below). Produced by Earle alongside longtime collaborator Skylar Wilson, the 10-track album was recorded completely live with no overdubs over a 4-day period at an old converted church recording studio in Asheville,NC. Of the new record, Earle comments, “I think that it’s the job of the artist to be in transition and constantly learn more. The new record is completely different than my last one, Harlem River Blues. This time I’ve gone in a Memphis-soul direction.”

Check out his music in the youtube video above.
