Oyster Arts and Music Festival Kicks Off One Day Early

Check out arts, music, crafts and food this weekend at Playland.

Due to a rainy forecast for Sunday, Oct. 7, the Oyster Arts and Music Festival opened Friday. There is also a rain date for Monday, Oct. 8.

Tonight until 6 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 6-7 (and 8 if it rains Sunday), the festival offers musical acts and about 60 vendors showcasing arts and crafts along the Playland boardwalk. We got a sneak peak at the set up on Friday. Check out the photos above and feel free to add your own.

The Westchester Children's Museum will be hosting an interactive Children's Area where the Clay Arts Center will also be set up. There is also special children's entertainment. To read the full details, click here
