White Plains Hospital Annual Scarecrow Festival

White Plains Hospital will be hosting its 12th Annual Scarecrow festival on October 17th behind Kids' B.A.S.E (adjacent to the Scarsdale Pool) on 307 Mamaroneck Road. There will be 3 sessions to register for: 10:00 am, Noon, and 2:00 pm. The price per scarecrow is $35, making this event affordable for local families throughout the community. All proceeds raised will benefit the Pediatric Emergency Department at White Plains Hospital.

This fun event allows families to build, dress and accessorize life-size scarecrows and take them home. The Auxiliary of White Plains Hospital supplies everything- clothing, straw, accessories, decorative materials and step-by-step scarecrow building instructions. Entertainment, arts and crafts for the kids, a bake sale, and fun raffles are included in the day's festivities.

Interested parties can call 681-2440 to register or email scarecrowWPHC@hotmail.com.
