Twilight Tuesday Concert - Angelo Rubino Band

The Port Chester-based Angie Rubino band will be entertaining the public will be performing a concert at Rye Town Park as part of the park’s “Twilight Tuesdays” concert series.  Rye Town Park is located in the City of Rye, NY at the east end of Dearborn Ave. near the intersection with Forest Avenue. 

The concert will be held on Tuesday, August 14 at the park’s south pavilion, located by the beach near the Dearborn Avenue entrance to the park. 

The concert will start at 7:30 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m.  Admission is free, and parking at Rye Town Park will be $2 after 6:00 p.m.   Nearby residents are encouraged to walk. 

Mr. Rubino has been leading bands for more than 35 years, performing at hotels, ballrooms and many other venues around Westchester and Fairfield Counties.  The band includes:  two saxophone players, a drummer, guitar player, keyboard/bass player, and  Mr. Rubino  singin lead singer as well as playing sax.  Space in the pavilion will be set aside for dancing, which is highly encouraged.  People of all ages are encouraged to join in the fun. 

All concerts will be held rain or shine, except in case of thunderstorms.  Picnicking is welcome.  Some seating will be available, but people are encouraged to bring blankets or beach chairs.  Dining and takeout is available at the nearby Seaside Johnnie’s Restaurant. 

This is the last of seven free concerts that will be held on Tuesdays in July and August.
