Nashional Treasure: A Celebration of Ogden Nash

Join us for an afternoon of hilarity and history as The Rye Arts Center honors the life and work of the immortal Ogden Nash, who was born and raised right here in Rye.

We'll celebrate the enduring wit and pioneering verbal talents of one of the most successful poets of the twentieth century, whose verse regularly graced the pages of The New Yorker and dozens of other publications, but whose career also stretched to Hollywood and the Broadway musical stage.

Frances Sternhagen and John Cunningham are the talented readers of Ogden;s wise and fun-filled poems.  We will also have songs from Danielle Hager and others, art, a little local history and an interview with some very special guests!
