Embark | Peekskill is happy to announce an open call for submissions from solo performers, performance companies and literary artists in the areas of theater, dance, music, performance art, poetry, storytelling and short story for the second annual EMBARK|Peekskill Performing and Literary Arts Festival 2012 - October 5-7, 2012 in Peekskill, NY. This is a multi-site festival that offers a variety of performance opportunities in traditional and non-traditional spaces such as galleries, restaurants, studios, boutiques, small stages, a 555 seat state-of-the art theater, and an outdoor stage at Peekskill’s beautiful Riverfront Park overlooking the Hudson River. Early submission deadline is July 15th. Late submission deadline is August 1st, 2012.
