Christopher Brown: Art and Music Reception

Christopher Brown is both an artist and a musician. He draws striking illustrations of people you know and writes equally vivid songs about people you think you know. On Oct. 14, he will present his art and music at the Rye Public Library. At 6:30 p.m., enjoy a wine and cheese reception and see Chris' depictions of your favorite Yankees and Mets, of Mark Twain and Neil Young, of Bernadette Peters and the Sopranos, and of many others. At 8 p.m., listen to Chris sing selections from his brand new CD, "Characterist," which brings alive another cast of characters - this time with lyric and melody. Why limit yourself to one art form when you can see and hear what Chris Brown has to say? He will be performing with Peter Calo on guitar and Lincoln Schleifer on bass. His illustrations will be available for sale.
