The Rye Arts Center, the largest not-for-profit multi-arts center in Westchester, is holding our biennial fundraiser, “The Phone Gala.” Throughout February, we are asking individuals and businesses to make donations rather than purchase tickets for a special event, so 100% of donations are tax-deductible.
Donations can be made at our website, www.ryeartscenter.org, or by calling The RAC at 914-967-0700. On Monday, March 7, we will hold a phone-a-thon to contact those who have not yet responded to our request for support. That evening, we will also raffle off eleven fabulous prizes, including a luxurious weekend for two at Stratton Mountain, a Hermès bracelet, and tickets to the NY Knicks. Raffle chances are $25 each or five for $100. Call 914-967-0700 x25 by March 4 at 5 p.m.to purchase raffle tickets.
This type of fundraiser eliminates the expenses associated with a large benefit, and the money generated will go directly to need-based services, such as Headstart, gallery exhibitions, performing arts events, and general operating needs. Since The RAC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, contributions are 100% tax-deductible. Supporters of this event will be recognized in The Rye Record on March 25.
