Volunteers Needed At The Rye Nature Center

Clean up efforts even over a year after Superstorm Sandy hit are still on going and volunteers are needed in Rye.

On Saturday, January 18th, The Volunteer Center of the United Way is arranging a Post Sandy Cleanup, even though Superstorm Sandy hit this area over a year ago, the clean up effort still continues for families, businesses and nonprofit organizations.

Volunteers are needed to help at the Rye Nature Center to assist with storm damage clean up. Participants will need to saw off and remove branches, cut vines, trees and help with other clean up needs.
