Rye has hosted the Turkey Trot for 35 years now; giving everyone who participates a chance to work off some of those calories from theit Thanksgiving feasts.
Four different runs are included: a 1-mile fun run, as well as competitive 3.1 and 5.2 mile races and the PAWS walk for doggie athletes.
Runners and walkers started at Rye Recreation Park, circled around to Playland and past Rye Arts Center.
