An announcement from the Rye Polar Plunge:
To all of the Wonderful Supporters of our Rye Polar Plunge:
We truly appreciate all of you who have planned to join us in support of our Rye “Polar Plunge” on December 8th at Rye Playland, Rye NY. Please know that this event is being rescheduled for December 14, 2013. Unfortunately, due to the effects of Hurricane Sandy and the terrible hardship it has caused for so many including Rye Playland Park, we have had no choice but to wait till the end of the year (2013) to reschedule.
Registration is still open and will remain open. Donations will remain for all teams and individuals and people can continue to donate and register going forward.
We hope that this change will help others continue to get members for their teams, help meet their goals, and make this plunge even bigger, better and more FUN for all!
As for the location, we still want to hold this at Rye Playland Park. We will know more information by May of 2013 and will keep you all informed.
So please, if you are interested in joining us, register today. The registration, information site will remain open for registrants and donations! Also, don't forget, we still need volunteers. If you are interested, you can also register as well.
