As if you needed an excuse to go to the beach. If the kids are begging to get out of the house or if you need a mental health break or you've been putting off that dog-eared beach read...well, wait no more. Get some beach chairs, sunscreen and towels, then head over to Long Island Sound for some weekday R&R.
Lifeguards are on duty at the park from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and park staff has sweetened the deal for late-day stragglers. Rye Town Park is offering a “Late Afternoon Delight Discount” rate for parking and beach.
From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. parking is discounted to $5 per car and beach admission to $5 per person for residents and non-residents.
