Holiday Ornaments Made By Teens

Almost time for Christmas, and what better way to dress up your Christmas tree than with homemade holiday ornaments.

The Rye Free Reading Room is allowing teens to make holiday ornaments to hang on their Christmas Trees on Friday, December 20, 2013 from 4-5pm in the meeting room.

As part of the Rye Free Reading Room's centennial celebration, teens will be creating holiday ornaments that were in vogue over one hundred years ago. Jennifer Plick, the education curator at the Square House Museum will be showing the teens how Rye homes decorated during the holidays.
