Blind Brook Seniors to Collect Sandy Donations During Election

Bring warm items to donate to Sandy victims on your way to the polls Tuesday.

A message from Blind Brook School District:

We hope you are all safe and warm after the storm.  Unfortunately, many of us are not.  As a community we would like to reach out and help those in need.

Tomorrow, Election Day, the Senior Class (Class of 2013) will begin collecting items to deliver to the victims of Superstorm Sandy.  We will collect through this Friday.

We will be collecting the following:

Water, Blankets, Batteries, Socks (new), Undergarments (new), Hats and Gloves.

Drop off boxes will be by the Main Office in the High School.  Please donate on your way to vote.

If you have any questions, you may email our class advisor, Charlene Decker at cdecker@blindbrook.org.

Thank you for your assistance.

Jesse Bauer, Eric Handelman, Elise Szwajkowski, Jeff Maizes, Brielle Farruggio.

A. Who the heck is "Sam Gentile"? Is "he" qualified to make the kind of postsRead More he's been making? Does he have an undisclosed financial interest in what he's posting? This sure looks like an [unidentified as such] sales promotion for Staples. B. On what basis does "he" assert that Rye Teachers are paying out of their own pockets for school expenses? I'm sure some are, but is it reasonable to base such a broadbrush / dramatic statement based on a nation-wide survey the source of which isn't even specified in the post? Was the survey perhaps assembled by Staples or some other business?
