The following post is from Patch reader Dierdre Curran, one of several posts on the Rye Patch Community Boards concerning the resignation of Scott Pickup. The city's separation agreement with Pickup can be viewed here. Pickup will be paid his salary until mid-July, according to the agreement, and will receive a one-time severance payment of nearly $60,000. He has also agreed to assist with the transition to new City Manager Frank Culross over the next several weeks:

Rye Mayor Joe Sack has just announced at [Wednesday night's] City Council Meeting that effective 11:59pm tonight, embattled City Manager Scott Pickup is done. He will be replaced in the interim by Frank Culross until a replacement is found.

Good rundown. You forgot his perverse cruelty to Bob Schubert and The Amico's Ray.

Wrong thread tedc. Although, in regard to your comment; Mr Tartaglione could amend his list by combining 6 and 7, which are redundant actually and insert your suggestions into either position. However, from a best to worst perspective, I don't think that combining the Amico's and the Sherbert's instances into one is just since they are only related in theme to my mind. If a top 10 list is good, a top 11 list must be that much better, if logic holds, so there seems a doable work around built in.

Now that SPI and the various issues around Scott Pickmeup are either settled or under control....tedc.....will you now have the time to devote to finishing up the Schubert swamp investigation and report back? Things will get pretty dull on Patch now and this would liven things up.
