UJA-Federation of New York’s Westchester Women’s Philanthropy Cabinet capped off its final meeting of the 2012 campaign year with a community service project at Edenwald Center, a residential treatment center in Pleasantville that cares for young people with emotional and cognitive difficulties. Edenwald Center is under the auspices of the Jewish Child Care Association of New York (JCCA), a UJA-Federation beneficiary agency. The women planted flowers on campus and painted a wall that surrounds a pavilion with picnic tables and a barbecue that was donated through UJA-Federation’s Give a Mitzvah-Do a Mitzvah program.
