Think Outside the Chocolate Box this Valentine's Day, Take a Sugartooth Tour!

Forget the flowers and think outside the box of chocolates this Valentine’s Day! For those looking to spice up their regular holiday routine, Sugartooth Tours has announced their Valentine’s Sweetheart’s Sugartooth Tour.

This fun and delicious tour will take you on a minimum of six dessert tastings throughout New York City. On the tour, you will not only fill up on decadent sweets, but you’ll also learn the historical significance of Valentine’s Day and gain culinary knowledge at each mouthwatering stop.

With romance in the air and sweets to be shared, the Valentine’s Sweetheart’s Sugartooth Tour allows couples to celebrate the holiday hand-in-hand, and bite-by-bite, by exploring the city together. Make this year’s Valentine’s Day stand out and upgrade to a dessert experience that you’ll both enjoy!

Looking for a preview of what’s on the tour? The Valentines holiday tour follows the route of the company’s Hell's Kitchen Tour, but with additional stops. Some of the featured sweets include handmade chocolates with international ingredients, traditional Greek pastries, European style fresh breads, New York's best cookie of 2012, traditional American home-style pie, Southern style brownie bars, and artisanal international dessert fusion.

“This is a great tour for locals and tourists who are looking to do something fun and memorable with their loved ones for Valentine’s Day,” said Sarah Rolleston, Co-founder of Sugartooth Tours. “When we host each tour, we make it a point to take our guests off the beaten path to places they wouldn’t expect.”

Tours run about 2 hours and include no more than 3 to16 people to ensure an intimate experience. Tickets are $50 and include an option to upgrade to a cocktail pairing at the final destination.

The Valentine’s Sweetheart’s Sugartooth Tour will run:
• Friday, February 8th thru Sunday, February 10th from 4-6:30 PM
• Thursday, February 14th thru Saturday, February 16th from 4-6:30 PM

Just a short thought to get the word out quickly about anything in your neighborhood.
Share something with your neighbors. Write a new post... What's up? Make an announcement, speak your mind, or sell something

Let's look at the appropriateness of this post. First, it's clearly an ad because it points to aRead More specific insurance agent at a specific agency to contact. Second, it attempts to hide being an ad behind what may be useful information (or not). Third, the "person" who posted it doesn't use their real name. Instead, they use a pseudonym Divorce Information NOW. That doesn’t seem terribly reassuring to me. This the third advertising post on the “announcements” space since Rye Patch converted to the new site layout. Seems a bit of a mess to me. But hopefully someone will come along and figure out who the real poster is, their link to the advertised agent and agency, and then delete the post. After all, if it’s an ad, it should be labeled as such and the poster should pay for having it run. If that doesn’t happen, Patch won’t be able to pay its employees to keep real content on the site.
