The Northern Westchester Chinese School is collaborating with Mohawk Day Camp to offer our first-ever Family Fun Day on Saturday, August 25th from 1PM to 4PM. Mohawk Day Camp is located at 200 Old Tarrytown Road, White Plains, NY 10630.
Mohawk Day Camp is a locally run day school and summer camp with a long history of 80 years in the area. They are generously offering their site and staff to provide many exciting and fun-filled outdoor activities: mini-train, mini-golf, miniature houses, playground, team games, over-sized bouncing castle, family zoo, and more…In addition, they are also providing free ice cream for everyone. NWCS will also have many unique Chinese cultural arts and activities such as
- Chinese table harp
- Traditional dough making figurines
- Calligraphy
- Kite making/flying
- Chinese Opera face painting
- Crafts
- Raffle for a stuffed Panda.
These activities are made possible by funding from the Overseas Compatriot Affairs Commission from Taiwan.
NWCS is delighted to join with Mohawk Day Camp to create this unique cultural exchange experience. There will be a snack table provided by our school for this event’s fundraising if you need refreshments!

We do like to remind the parents to attend to your children fully at all times. The on-site staff is there only to supervise the activities. NWCS and Mohawk Day Camp are not liable for any misconduct or mishap. If you do need any medical assistant, there will be an on-site nurse near the front entrance marked by a red balloon.
