Mount Kisco Child Care Center Hosts Kick-Off Party for 8th Annual Feed Me Fresh: An Edible Evening

Mount Kisco, NY – (August 6, 2012) – Mount Kisco Child Care Center (MKCCC) hosted a kick-off party for its 8th Annual Feed Me Fresh: An Edible Evening gala in early August. Surrounded by the beautiful landscape of Ivanna Farms in Bedford Corners, the event committee discussed preparations for celebrating MKCCC and honoring its generous supporters in their largest fundraising event of the year.

MKCCC will host the fundraising gala, honoring Mount Kisco residents Frances and Isidoro Albanese and 40-year Mount Kisco resident Curtis Beusman, on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Ivanna Farms. The evening kicks off at 7:00 p.m. and will include fresh tastings from 20 local restaurants.  Additional highlights include live jazz music, cocktails, dancing and both Live and Silent Auctions, as well as the awards presentation. Funds raised that evening will benefit the Scholarship Program at MKCCC, which provides tuition assistance to nearly 50% of children enrolled at the Center.

Feed Me Fresh: An Edible Evening is open to all by advance reservation. Tickets are $200 per person; sponsorships and journal ads are also available. For further information, please contact Patty Black at914.241.2135 or pblack@mkccc.org, or visit our website, www.mkccc.org.

Just a short thought to get the word out quickly about anything in your neighborhood.
Share something with your neighbors. Write a new post... What's up? Make an announcement, speak your mind, or sell something

Let's look at the appropriateness of this post. First, it's clearly an ad because it points to aRead More specific insurance agent at a specific agency to contact. Second, it attempts to hide being an ad behind what may be useful information (or not). Third, the "person" who posted it doesn't use their real name. Instead, they use a pseudonym Divorce Information NOW. That doesn’t seem terribly reassuring to me. This the third advertising post on the “announcements” space since Rye Patch converted to the new site layout. Seems a bit of a mess to me. But hopefully someone will come along and figure out who the real poster is, their link to the advertised agent and agency, and then delete the post. After all, if it’s an ad, it should be labeled as such and the poster should pay for having it run. If that doesn’t happen, Patch won’t be able to pay its employees to keep real content on the site.
