Mom’s Time Out Show Tonight

The zenlive.tv Mom’s Time Out radio show will discuss caring for our moms and dads with special guest Curtis Au, LMSW, Care Consultant Alzheimer’s Association, Hudson Valley/Rockland/Westchester, NY Chapter

This begins a three part series of the most dynamic story filled with information you need to know for youyou’re your family.  Facts, emotion, determination, Medicare/Medicaid Laws, you name it.

Fireworks at Playland

There is a free fireworks show at Rye Playland every Wednesday and Friday at 9:15 this month. Parking fees apply. Details here.

Wednesday Night Concerts on Adee Street

Dancing under the stars takes place on Wednesday night on Adee Street in Port Chester from 7 to 8:30 p.m. with Markx Laiko, a Bolivian band.

While covering the Helping Hands backpack drive yesterday we learned more about the organization and wanted to share this volunteer opportunity with you:

On the third Thursday of every month, Helping Hands volunteers meet at 11 a.m. at the Rye Presbyterian Church kitchen to make 300 bag lunches for the food programs of Grace Church Soup Kitchen in White Plains. Learn more at helpinghands.org.
