The Rye Garnets beat the Fox Lane Foxes in the second round of the playoffs, cruising to the 5-1 victory Wednesday night at Playland.
Though the Foxes turned the heat on midway through the first period of play -scoring the first point of the game - the Garnets came back in the second and third period, skating away with a four-point win over the Foxes while advancing to the semi-finals this Friday.
