At the Cap: FURTHUR, Black Crows, B.B.King, John Prine

In addition to eight nights of FURTHUR, Port Chester's Capitol Theatre presents several other shows this month.

If you missed your chance to buy tickets to the now sold out eight nights of Grateful Dead veteran band FURTHUR at The Capitol Theatre this month, there is still a lot more good live music you can check out.

The Black Crows play April 2 and 3, although those shows are already sold out too. Jazz and blues royalty B.B. King will be at the theater on April 11. Country/folk singer-songwriter John Prine plays April 12 with Alejandro Escovedo (described as alt-country/alt-rock) as his opener. And the popular rock band Max Creek will play on April 27. The FURTHUR shows are on April 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 23, 24 and 25.

Looking Ahead....The Cap will host some of the brightest names in roots and Americana in coming months, with Iron & Wine making their Cap debut with the Secret Sisters on May 19. On June 23, the Alabama Shakes will headline a sold-out triple bill featuring Jonny Fritz and Houndmouth, and Shovels & Rope will open for Dawes on July 24.
